UConn Nutmeg Theatre becomes Connecticut Repertory Theatre
The Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) is the producing arm of the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. CRT productions are directed , designed by and cast with visiting professional artists, including members of the Actors’ Equity Association, faculty members, and the Department’s most advanced student artists. The synergy between professional and advanced student artists creates extraordinary theatre and a unique learning environment.
Plans for new music facilities took shape
December 13, 1993
Planning for the construction of additional facilities for Music was well underway. A University Libraries newsletter provides an architectural drawing and some of the details. Music Education Professor Robert Miller, to be named Department Head in 1998, was instrumental in coordinating the project through its many stages.
